A miner named Walter Webb, afcRirau, attempted to cut his throat on Friday night. Ho was taken to the hospital. It ia believed he will recover. A miner named Robort Bell, living at Humphrey'o, near Stafford, on Saturday night fell into a deep tail-race and broko hia neck.
