The trade in grain continues quiec, The following are the quotations : Wheat — Under this head there it no alteration to note in this market. Rtooks of colonial coming forward find ready sale at 3s 8d to 3s 10 1 per bushel ; Adelaide, 3s 9d per bushel ; Victorian, 3» 8d per buahol.^ Flour— During the past week large arrivals have again come to hand from Adelaide and Victoria, and with fair consignments from country mills keep the market amply supplied. The markot itself is devoid of any ipecial feature, remaining dull. Buyers continue only to purchase for their immediate requirement". Quotations — New South Wales, 18 15s to L 9 10s per ton ; Adelaide, L 8 10s to L 9 10i per ton : Victorian, L 8 to L 8 15a per ton ; roller and special makes, 5a to 10s per ton extra. Maize — During the week, owing to the continued farorable state of the wea'her on the coast, enabling river steamers to run their regular trips, supplies have been larger than in the preoeeding week, consequently the market ha* an easier tendency. The export demand, principally to Queensland ports, continues active. Steady aales at 3« to 3s Id per bushel. Oa' a— Stocks during the past «eek have atjain been augmented by supplies from ew Zjaland, and the market i 8 depressed. 1 wing to supplies of maize coming in more freely, buyers are less »nxious to purchase No improvement in prices. Slow sales ol feed at 2a 4d to 2s 6d ptr bußtal. Little or no inquiry for seel, for which 2s Gd to 3s per buihel was realised by auction. Barley— Little or no bu»iness doing under this he »d. Nominal value of Cape, 3s to 3s 3d per bushel. Bran— Additions to stocks have been reoeived from Adelaide and Now Zealand during the week. Brisk sales at Is Id per bushel. Pollard— ln steady enquiry at Is 2d per bushel.

Potatoes— Large arrivals have been received from Victoria, Tasmania, and New Zealand during the week, and consequently the supplies being iv excess of tho requirements the market has ruled easier for all varieties. Selling steadily at L 2 15i to L 3 ncr t n for Warrnambiol. New Zealand, L 3 10a per ton ; Circular Head, L 3 15a per ton.

Butter — No change under this head. In addition to tho u.'ual supplies from the Southern ports during the pait week, nnoth r New Zealand shipment; of 372 kegu was received, the standard quotation of 111awarra being Is 91 per lb. lutercolonial packed plentiful and dull at lOd to Is 3d p«r lb.
