Store Cattle- Thero id a fair enquiry for lots suitable for fattening ou turnips. During the week we have placed 120 head mixtd, chiefly bollocks, at » satisfactory price. Stoic Sheen— We have a very good lot ( f ■oond-m<>uih merino wethers on hand, but have no transactions to report;

Sheepskins — At our weekly auction on Monday last we o'eared a good oatalogue. Ihe att-ndance of buyers was large, and competition spirited. P ices realised were at follow b: Country tlry crossbreds, low to medium, Is 2d to 2a 9d ; g-od to full, 3a t( Gi ; rneiino», low to medium, HJ to 3a ; good to full- wool, 33 3d to 4< 9d ; dry pelta, 2d to 7d ; butchers' gretn oro^bred-, 2i 7d to 2s lid ; do do merinos, 2s Sd to 3d Id

Rabbitakins — Consignments as yet are only on a small scale, and although all coming to hand meet with a fair demaud, buyers are operating with caution ; and from preaent appear, iLcea last aeaaon'a prijei are not likely to be reached.

Hides— There U no alteration in values. Tho demand continues good, more especially for hoavy. good-couditioDed paroels. Tallow — We have no imorovement to report in the demand for this article. The local trade continues to absorb all country small lota coming to hand at about last week's quotations, but any good-aized lots are difficult to place except at further reduced rates. Rough fat 1b lower now, ranging from 12s to 14 j Gd per cwt, according to quality,
