Early on Sunday morning Martin'a Black Hone Hotel, near the Sunnyaide Aaylum, was burglariously entered and an iron aafo, containing about L3OO and several deqds, waa carried off from a room opening on to £he b,ar. examination of the promises leads to the b,ejief that entpanoe was efjfdoted through * window, and that the bar doop was opened from the imide. The safe must have been taken through the door and there are indioations of ita having been rolled over and over from the door to a cart in which it was carried away. Over 6000 people visited the Exhibition on Saturday. The total recoipts for the week exceeded those of the first week of tlio Adelaide Exhibition by L 350. At the Resident Magistrate's Court thin morning, Henry Lamb, 11 year< nd, for •ticking up and robbing anotbar boy of 2s, was ordered to bo tent to the Industrial School for four yean. The jurors were to have been elected to-day, but the exhibitors asked for a week's more time, which was granted. Forty one thousand trout were distributed by the Society last season. Nine electors wore struck off the Stanmore roll to-day, because they could not be found at their places of residence. Notice of motion has been given in the oty Council to c>mpel all churches, schoolrooms, etc, to bo licensed under the Municipal Act. There was a wonderfully brilliant aurora this evening about 7 o'clock. Tho tints as seeu here were gorgeous, and extended right to the zenith.
