NAPIER. April 5.
At an Inquest on the body of Homy Franklin, found hanging on a treo nt Wainui by a saddlo strap attaohcd to his neok, a verdiot of suicide while in an tin•ound state of mind was recorded. Deceased and his brother were bushmen. They had breakfast together, and wont to work as u«ual. During the morning deceased went off by himself and was not found till his brother, on going homo in the erening, law him hanging. lie was quite dead, and his feet were only four inches from the ground.
