Father Honnobory and threo priests then went amongst tho Eeople, and shortly announcod that LIIQO ad been subscribed. The pockets of tho waistcoat belonging to O'Connor, lately convicted of attempting to poison Light, the publican, have been analysed by Dr Hector, and found to contain poison. A meeting has been called by the Mayor for this evening with the object of petitioning the Government to mitigato O'Connor's sontence, but this will probably now collapse. A sharp shook of earthquake occurred here at 11.40 on Saturday night.
