THE BELLRINGERS.

The Lynch Family drew a bumper house at the Masonic Hall last night, the room being crowded to overflowing. The performances on the hand-bells were well, worth going to hear, and elicited hearty applause; while Mr Charles Keeley, in his character songs, "The Blighted Husband," "The Scamp." "Nicodemus Johnson," &c, convulsed the audience with laughter, and in each case au encore was demanded. The comio trio, "The Schmoker Family," deserves mention as being very amusing ; and the screaming farce of " Mr Johnson in want of a coachman," with which the performance concluded, sent the audience home in high good humor. The Lynches appear for the last time to-night, with a change of programme. To-night's bill of fare will include Selections from " Maritana," by the Bellringers; fresh comic quartette, and new songs and dances by Mr C. Keeley ; concluding with the original farce,. '• Glycerine Oil " We are requested to announce that this will positively be the last appearauce of the troupe in Oamaru for many years, as 'the company are now en route for'fre?h fields and pastures new. By way of news, we may mention that, nrior to the Bellringers opening, Mr J. Jennings purchased the three nights' receipts, and by all appearance is likely to make a considerable sum out of his commendable enterprise.
