AHIPARA RIDING INSPECTION On Wednesday morning the Mangonui County Councillors nude an inspection of most of the roads in the Ahipara Riding, thus completing the inspection of the whole r-i the county during th e past few months. Under the guidanc; of the Riding Member, Mr. I. J. Berghan, the counlil visited Epakauri Road where a proposed quarry was visited. Thence to the Manukau Settlement roading, and back through the Roma Road to Ahipara Foreshore. The proposed extensi ,n of the road to connect to the Ahipara Hills Road was discussed, and the party then inspected the Beach T< v . hip. Mr. Berghan escorted the Council over the Ahipara Memorial Domain and explained th e proposed improvements and layout of recreational facilities. As a result of the tour, councillors at the meeting held in the afternoon, discussed future wjrk to be done in the Riding.
