TOMORROW’S MATCHES The Mangonui Rugby Union competitions for the Bell, Fleming and Trigg Shields commence the 1949 season tomorrow. All senior games, including the reserve grade start at 2.30 p.m., junior games as curtain-raisers 1 p.m., otherwise 2 p.m. Tomorrow all home clubs must comply with Union instructions and have weighing scales for restricted weight and age competitions, referees to check same ; players concerned are to be on the grounds by 12.45 p.m. Juniors, 18 to 21, 12 stone 7 lbs, under 18 unrestricted, over 21 11 stone 7 lbs ; third grade, under 18 on May Ist 11 stone 7 lbs, if over 18 and 21 on May Ist, 9 stone 7 lbs.
