Obituary
MR. HENRY KITCHEN On February 24th a gloom was cast over the Valley when word was received that Mr. Henry Kitchen’s death had occurred in the Kaitaia Hospital. Deceased was aged 71. Although Mr. Kitchen had only been in hospital a relatively short time, he had for several months been in indifferent health. Having lived in the Valley all his life, he will be missed greatly by his many friends, as he w f as popular and respected by all who knew him. The funeral which took place on Friday at the Valley cemetery was very largely’ a Tended and the service was conduct, d by the Rev. Niblock. Many beautiful wreaths -/and floral tributes were placed on the grave.
