SCOUTS’ RE-UNION
Paris Jamboree Reps, to Assemble j Allen Colebrook, one of the Kai- I taia Scouts who attended the 1947 | Jamboree in Paris, received advice this week that Rotorua members of New Zealand’s “Titoki” Jamboree [ Troop are contemplating a re-union j on August 21st and 22nd at the Rotorua District Scout Hall. All members of the “Titoki” Troop ! are invited to attend and will assemble at Rotorua on the morning of | Saturday, August 21st. At 12 noon, luncheon will be served at the Hall J and during the afternoon a conducted j tour of the Rotorua thermal district j will be undertaken. At 6.30 p.m., scouts and scouters will again assemble at the hall for the re-union dinner in the Assembly Room, to be followed at S p.m. by the showing of j the film “N.Z. Scouts at the French j Jamboree.” From 10 p.m. onwards I the evening will be occupied by a ! s : ng-song and social hour. On Sunday, after a Chm-eh parade, j a further tour of Rotorua will be j made and ’ after luncheon, members j of the Troop will depart for their respective homes.
