Personal Mr. and Mrs. Andy Srhoj of Big Flats are the happy possessors of a baby son. Dance On the evening if Saturday Bth inst. a basket social' in aid of hall funds, was held in the hall. The attendance was fair. Mr. M. J. Srhoj was m.c. and music was supplied by Messrs. R. Hagger, R. Hoggard, H. Pikare»and M. J. Srhoj. A ticket waltz was won by Mr. S. Urlich and Miss V. Babich, and Mr. R. Hoggard" and Miss A. Biicich won a monte carlo. A brace of pheasants went to Mr. E. Kunicich, and an auctioned cake was secured by Mr. J. Katavich. Mr. Joe Babich made a very capable auctioneer, and spirited bidding was made for all baskets ; Mrs. M. Katavich had the honour of seeing her basket fetch the highest price. A bountiful supper was provided and dancing ended about midnight.
