Both boys received a great ovi tion as they left the stage. Competitions were won by Mr. J Waitohi (two fowls) and Mr. J. Rii dley (honey dishes). The pianist wi Mrs. L. White, and her music wi enjoyed by.all. Dancing continued until the ear hours of the morning.

KAITAIA R.S.A. SOCIAL CLUB There was a fine muster of returned men present at last Saturday evening’s social when the executive of the Kaitaia Bowling Club were entertained. An enjoyable evening of indoor bowls was spent with the visitors adding a distinctive bowling flavour to the evening with their characteristic terms, poses and rules. Mr. D. Hanlon spoke on behalf of the bowling club and Mr. A. Rae replied. Supper was served and a most pleasant evening continued till a late hour.
