Wright left for camp on Monday. Mr. and Mrs. I. Fraser travelled south on Tuesday. Mr. L. Turner left for a medical board in Auckland yesterday. Mr. and Mrs. A. Dodds left for Auckland today. Mesdames J. May, H. Wilkinson and N. Wilkinson returned from Auckland last week after farewelling their brother, Sgt. Air-gunner Bruce Gibb. Guests at the Kaitaia Hotel during the week included Messrs. H. Pearce, S. Stewart, K. Bray, N. L. Wilkinson, J. Saudle, S. M. Simons, J. Ferguson, R. Leary and Rolfe-Smith. The following members of the Kaitaia High School staff left for the school holdays last week-end: Mrs. I. McKinnon, Misses A. Solomon, M. Lusty, A. Clince, D. Attwood, L. Matthews, A. Pile, and M. Reid.
