PATRIOTIC AND W.W.S.A. DANCE AT KAEO

Dancing went with a merry swing in Kaeo last Friday night at the patriotic dance organised by the Patriotic Dance Committee and the W.W.S.A. Mrs. Green, Mr. and Mrs. Hughes, and Mr. Pinches assisted by men of the army played for the occasion. The dance was well attended and novelty dances and a tempting supper added to the pleasure and success of the evening. Mr. Miller was M.C. The competition winners were : Roast Turkey—Hugh Moselen, Sponge Cake—Velma Renata, Toy Rabbit— Mr. G. Manning, Sponge Cake—Betty Shaw. The takings realized £l4 10/.
