Manchester Unity Lodge
The Loyal Kaitaia Branch of the Manchester Unity Lodge held its August meeting in the Lodge room, Bro. B. Wright, N.G. presiding over a good attendance of members. A letter was received from Bro. Hand re visit at a later date. Thanks for wedding gifts were sent by Bro. Steed and Bro. Gardiner. The Balance Sheet was adopted. Bro. Gray, P.G., and Sister Powell P.G. were re-appointed sick visitors. I Honours of the order were extended j to Bro. Deb Coulter and Bro. Maurice j Sanders, recently returned from overj seas. Apologies were received from ; j Bro. Lee and Bro. Hosking and Bro. Wilson. At the conclusion of the Lodge business, the returned men and their friends were entertained, the winners of the Salli Mundi being Bro. A. Gray P.G. and Sister K. Parker. The gift was won by Bro. R. Coulter. Music for the dancing was supplied by Sister K. Parker and P.G. Bro. E. Hansen. Bro. B. Wright was M.C.
