1.0.0. F. Lodge Notes

The Northern Star Lodge held its usual meeting on November 18th, Bro. H. Sanders presiding as Noble Grand. Lodge business being disposed of, the hall was cleared and card tables set up to entertain the Koa Rebekah Lodge at Flag 500. The large number present thoroughly enjoyed the games, the winning table being Brother and Sister Powell and Sister Gray, while the consolation prizes went to Sisters Jameson and Knight and Bro. Kirtlan. Mrs. Treacher won the travelling prize. Supper followed, and the brothers’ cooking was favourably commented on by the visitors. After supper a discussion on the holding of the Kiddies' Christmas Party finally set the date for the 11th of December. The mat was then rolled out and the evening concluded with the visitors ably demonstrating to the brothers that they, too, could roll down a pretty mean bowl.
