Purely Personal Dr. Parr is at the Redan Hotel. Mr. L. Puckey is visiting Auckland. Mr. H. Stubbs is visiting the district. Major Sefton has arrived back from training camp. Mrs. Absolum has arrived back from a trip to Auckland. Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Reynolds are returning to Kaitaia tonight. Mrs. G. Thompson and Mrs. C. Povey of Victoria Valley are visiting Auckland. Mr. and Mrs. Faire, of Awanui, are visiting Auckland. Miss M. Kerr left on holiday over the weekend. She intends visiting Wellington and the Centennial Exhibition. Mr. Richard Lain" who was formerly manager of the Bank of Australasia is relieving Mr. H. McDonald, the present manager, who is away on holiday. * * * Weekend Bowls A very satisfactory pairs tournament took place over the weekend in spite of threatening weather. There was not sufficient rain to interfere with play and some very goed bowling took place. The winners were T. Stinson and E. Clark and the runners-up M. Hammond and W. Rauch.
