Exhibition Excursion for Country Folk
Yesterday morning saw the departure of a number of folk from Kaitaia and the outlying districts on a week’s excursion to the Centennial Exhibition. their names being as follows : Mesdames C. Flinn, M. Wild, R. D. Hanlon, Richter, Ned Wilkinson, H. Wilkinson, D. Jameson, (Kaitaia) ; M. Masters, A. Masters, -S. Masters, (Pukepoto) ; N. Kemp, C. Ball, J. Gill, (Awanui) ; H. Carr, A. W. Adams, D. Kitchen, J R. Kitchen, A. Rogers, Quarterman, H. Crene, (Takahue) ; Misses Stewart (Kaitaia) and E. Rogers (Takahue) ; Messrs. M. Masters (Pukepoto) ; H. Carr, O. Irving, D. Kitchen, N. National Party Meeting The annual meeting of the Kaitaia branch of the National Party will be held in Foster’s Rooms on Wednesday, May Ist at 8 p.m. The business will be to receive the annual reports and balance sheet and to t ect officers for the coming ;.ear.
