WAINUI - AHIPARA INSTITUTE

The monthy meeting of the WainuiAhipara Institute was held at the home of Mrs. Stuart Masters on Thursday, 6th October. Mrs. Stuart Masters, vice-president, presided over a fair attendance of members. The competition for the largest hen egg was won by Mrs. Arthur Masters, with Mrs. Stuart and Mrs. Athol Masters tying for second. Two other competitions were won by Mrs. Ivan Berghan and Mrs. Maurice Masters. A pleasant afternoon was brought to a close with afternoon tea served by the hostesses, Mrs. Morice and Mrs. Horsford.
