SPORTS MEETING FOR KAITAIA
A gymkhana, arranged by the Kaitaia Physical Culture and Athletic Club, is to be held in the A. and P. grounds on Saturday, October 29. All types of sports and athletics are catered for, from a tug-o’-war to a cycle race, and including men’s team games, women’s team games, gymnastic displays, etc. For those who tire of watching the sports there will be sideshows of every description, even to a miniature rifle range for our shooting fraternity. In fact, taken all in all, no effort is being spared to make the day one big red-letter occasion. Entries for most events close on Saturday, October 22 (that’s Saturday week).
