MANGONUI GOLF CLUE
ANNUAL MEETING The annual meeting of the Mangonui Golf Club was held last week when there was a fair attendance of members. The balance sheet presented showed a small credit balance. The following officers were elected for the coming year:— President—Mr. W. A. Wilton i Vice-president—Mr. J. Feisst ' Secretary—Mr. J. Barker Club captain—Mr. G. W. Alexander Committee—Messrs E. Mitchell, C. W. Williams, E. Brennan and B. J. Pole The subscription was fixed at 5/- for ladies and £1 for gentlemen members. A trophy for competition this season was donated by Mr. Mitchell, last year’s president of the club, and conditions governing this trophy were lert with the donor and the committee. It was arranged that working bees he held on the links to improve the greens and fairways.
