Heavy Traffic License Fees Collected in Northern Counties
The heavy traffic license fees collected by the local authorities in the four northern counties are as follows: Mangonui county, £836 ; Whangaroa county, £220 ; Hokianga county, £803; Bay of Islands county, £685 ; Kaikohe town district, £176 ; Kaitaia town district, £69. In 1927 the total amount of the heavy traffic license fees collected in the four Northern counties amounted to £575 as against £2789 in 1935.
