Maori Team’s Tour

The it'orth Auckland Maori team returned from the Waikato this week. While on the tour they played 4 matches scoring wins in each case against Whangarei, Waikato Maoris, Southern Maoris and Waikato Reps. The team brings back with them the Coronation Shield and a Cup donated by Ratana. The Rev. Mutu Kapa, the manager and the majority of players were from this County. A Basketball team that also made the trip to the Waikato played two games winning one and drawing in the other The Haka team, under Mita Paratene won the competition against teams from all parts of the Country.
