Kaitaia Thirds play Rawene
Playing at Rawene last Saturday, the Kaitaia 3rd grade team were defeated by the Rawene thirdgraders for the McArthur Cup, held by Rawene. The score was Rawene 18 points, three converted and one unconverted try, to Kaitaia’s 9 points, three unconverted tries by Spanhake, Latimer and Masters. The Kaitaia boys put up a good fight, and hope that next year they will be able to lift the Shield.
The team was in the charge of Mr. E Barry.
