“IF NINE MEN DO NINE MILES-”

A GRADING EQUATION CR. WRATHALL PUZZLED In a lengthy discussion by the county council of grader matters at its meeting last week Cr. Wrathall brought to light a srange irregularity of operations. “I recently saw nine men working on one of the graders at Gardener’s Corner,” stated Cr. Wrathall. “They reached Peria about six weeks later, and kept on going until they reached my riding. The crew was then reduced to two men, and they did four miles in one day. Two men in one day did four miles with the same machinery as that with which it took nine men neatly

two months to do nine miles.” Cr. Wrathall then referred to a notice of motion which he intended to lodge, asking for a full investigation into administration matters. The notice of motion which he submitted was given in last issue.
