Quarry Road Bridge.

Strudt jrc Now Completed. The Quarry Road bridge, which, like others over the Whapgatane spillway, had to be lengthened owing to the extra width of the cut made by the dredges, has been completed, and the finished structure reflects credit on the department and on the cons’ruction gang which carried o it the work in charge of Mr. H Foley. Solidly-built and permanent looking, the new bridge his a total length of 121 feet and a width of 12 feet, with handrails for the full length, and is erected on hardwood piles with puriri decking.
