Mr J Shannon of Hamilton is paying a holiday visit to Kaitaia and is the guest of Mr F. H. S. Matthews. Mr R. T. King returned from Auckland on Thursday. Mrs A H Puckey re lined from her holiday last Tuesday. Mr A. G. Bell left for Helensville Springs, for treatment, on Saturday, and expects to be away about a month. Mr R E Hornblow, of Kohukohu, Hokianga, who is contesting the vacant seat on the North Auckland Land Board, was a visitor to Dargaville recently. He has just completed a tour of the electorate in connection with his candidature.

Mr and Mrs T Milden, who have been visiting Kaitaia for

some time, return home on Saturday.
