Electrification of North Auckland. The following is an extract from a letter read at the meeting o. me Kaitaia Town Bc-ard or. Monday night:—“A conference of .epresentatives of local bodies in North Auckland was held in the Wbangarei County Chambers . on Tuesday, February 27, which was cc cwd by the Hobson Electric Power Board for the purpose o f considerin g the report of Mt Llov 0 Mandcno re electricity in the North.” - The tollovdng resolution was carried. “That the time is p’pe for the introduction of electric pow rin .the Norte, and that in ’ot ter to oe a die to determine the amount of power required, a detai’ed survey should be made of those portions of each county where considered possible to intro iuce power at a payable rate.’ -
