Mangonui A & P Association.

Show Day. March 3 Large Entries Received

A Great Display Expeded

The annual show of the Mangonui A & P Associat-on will be f ?ld on Saturday of next week. Great arrangements have been made to have this show the best jet held by the Society. It redounds to the undoubted credit of tle President, Secretary, and Committee, that they have all v orked very hard indeed to create a display of the best that the C ounty can produce, and to array the horses, cattle and sheep and domestic produce, against anything sent from outside centres, to compete in the various classes. We are pleased to know that there will be some spirited competition in the various cattle and sheep classes. In iight horses there will be a better class of animal snown than ever before and we may expect to find some keen c mipetition in the draught horse section. The farm and garden produce section promises to be good notwithstanding the dry v, -ather and the various forms of c imestic industry will occasion k en interest, among exhibitors and public alike. The show is possibly one of the most educative institutions promoted in the district for young men learn from a eing different animals judged by experts to know the outstanding features of the animals adjudged the champions in the various classes. It is p'easing to know that the Jersey judge will give a demonstration at a given time and this should be availed of by many pcoole engaged in dairying. We trust the Show this year will be a great success and that the public will assist it in every way possible.
