Since there is just a little over a week before the serious business begins it behoves players of all clubs to get into active training and get a reliable set of players for the opening matches. Nothing looks worse than a team of all colours like St. Joseph’s coat. Another thing players should guard against is the | habit of talking and chipping during play. They should reme- ! mber thgy are out to entertain the public with football and not speechmaking. Halls are used for speechmaking, but in any case the public get enough speeI chmaktng at election time to last them for three years.
