WEDDINGS.
BOULTER-COSSON. Oh March 18 two .yrell 'known .and ■popular young residents of the district, in the persons of: Mr Harold Boulter and Miss Beryl Cosson, were married in the Foresters’ Hall at Awanui. - ' Rev W. Elliott, M.A., was the officiating clergyman. i' The bride was given away by hbf father, Mr George Cosson, of Awanuiv She looked charming in a frock of ivory satin grenadine, trimmed with silk lace, and wearing veil and orange blossoms. The bridesmaids were Misses Corftiie Cosson and Nettie Smith, who wore maige crepe-de-chine frocks, with wreaths of maize-coloured flowers in their hair. The bridegroom was attended by Messrs W. Subritzky as best man, and Cecil Smith, groomsman. The reception was held in Evans’ Hall, where the wedding presents were on view, both the costly, ornamental and useful being represented. Dancing was indulged in till midnight. HAYES—SANDERSON. The following account of the wedding of members of two well known Whangaroa families we copy from the “ Northern News”: — “ A verv pretty wedding was solemnized in the Methodist Centenary Church, Kaeo, on the I2th March, when Miss Lorna Sanderson, daughter of Mr Sanderson, of Totara North, and Mr Gerald Hayes, son of Mr T. H. Hayes, ot Kaeo, were married. The bride looked very pretty in her dress of cream satin and lace. The bridesmaids, Misses Z. Kelley, I. and N, Hayes, wore dresses of green and gold. Little Miss Sanderson, neice of the bride, made a dainty little flower girl. The bridegroom was supported by Messrs H. Hayes, C. Hayes, and A Sanderson. The Rev Mr Brookes conducted the ceremony. Afterwards a reception was held at Mrs Sanderson’s residence at Totara North.”
