DAIRY COMPANIES CONFERENCE

We heartily congratulate the Directors of the Kaitaia and Oruru Dairy Companies on the businesslike decision which they arrived at in recommending the amalgamation of the existing companies.

This strong lead given by those who are closely in touch with the interests of the Dairy Industry and the district, will undoubtedly be oi great assistance in formulating a sound opinion in the minds of the suppliers, whose chief aim is to ge; the highest price possible for their product. There will we feel sure be no difficulty in set-

tling details; precedents and methods of procedure being available from amalgamated dairy concerns in many parts of this Dominion.

We also feel sure that the shareholders of both companies aftei fully considering the scheme from a business standpoint, will find no difficulty in supporting their Directors in the progressive move which they have made.
