TO THE EDITOR, Sir, —Additional Area Non-Oommis-sioned Offioeis and Sergeant Instructors are required for the Military Forces. I should be very glad, aud it would be a great help to the defenoe seheme, if you oould let it be known through the medium of your eolumne that applications for these positions, addressed to the O.C. distriot in which the candidate resides, will be reoeived at Distriot Headquarters Auckland, Christohuroh, Dunedin and Palmerston North, up to 15th Maroh, 1913. Preference will be given to qualified Territorials at present serving, ex-New Zealand South African contingenters, ex-Yolunteers, and ex-Imperials resident in New Zealand, in the order named, provided qualifications ars equal. Information as to servioe, forms for application, pay, eto., can be obtained at any Distriots or Area Offioe. Candidates must be between the ages of 21 and 35 years and physioally fit.—l am, eto., F.
