Mails for the undermentioned places close as follows: Pukepoto, Ahipara, Herckino, Owhata Oruru, Peria, Fairburns, Rangitihi, Kaitaia, Takahue,' Victoria Valley on Sunday at 5 p.m. Oruru, Peria, Fairburns, Rangitihi, Kaitaia, Takabue, Victoria Valley, Waipapakauri, Awanui, To Koroa and Taipa on Tuesday immediately on arrival of steamer. Kohuwaru on Wednesday at 1 p.m. Auckland, Whangaroa, Totara North, Russell, Opua and Kawakawa on Wednesday at 6 p.m. Oruru, Peria, Fairburns, Rangitihi, and Kaitaia on Friday at 5 p.m. Auckland, Kaeo, Waipapa, Kawakawa and Whangarei on Saturday at noon. N.B.—Letters containing anything of value should be handed to the Postmaster to be registered. Letter* containing coin, if posted unegistered, will be compulsorily registered, and charged double registration fee . H. G. HUNT, Postmaster.
