Rebellion in Morocco
TANGIERR, May 0. The people in the whole of the southern part of Morocco, including Marakesh, have rebelled against the Sultan and proclaimed Muli Hofed, thhe present Sultan’s brother, as Sultan. The rebels have reinstated the late governor of Marakesh and refused to allow him to proceed to Tangiers to stand his trial for the murder of Dr. Mauchamp. The prisoners charged m with the actual murder have been released . Later. There are indications that the whole of the country will support the Marakesh rebels. *
