Fairburn.
(From our Own Correspondent.) Mr. W. May and his bride have returned to Fairburn. They have the best wishes of a large circle of friends. The new bridge over the Kaiharihari on Duncan’s Road and the approaches to the same were finished this week. It is a substantial structure, of standard Jpattern, and reflects great credit on both | designer and buildev. i Bushfelling in the Outakai block is in | full swing. At least 300 acres will be (cleared this year. Although we are not in the same j pleasant condition with regard to mud as |your correspondent from the “ Happ) Valley,” yet the roads are remarkabl) Igood for this time of the year, and if wi iaro fortunate enough to receive ai sadequate Government grout, the old [trouble of suppliers not being able to gel ■their milk along to the creamery ii [September and October will soon be a |thing of the past.
