Herekino.
(From our own Correspondent.) A veiy succesful ball was given by Mr. H. Powell on the 18th ultimo, to celebrate the opening of his new hall. There was a large attendence, the hall being quite full. The Herekino-Broadwood road is a veritable trap for man and beast. It is dangerous in the daytime, hut woe betide the poor traveller who is unlucky enough to get overtaken by darkness on this road. Several horses have already had accidents here. May 25th, 1906.
