Acceptances or forfeits to be declared or paid, as the case may be, at or before twelve o'clock at noon, on Monday, February 28th. The TOWN PLATE of 60 soys, added to a sweepstakes of 6 soys each ; second horse to save his stake. T.C.P. weights. Three miles. The WELTER STAKES of 3 sovb each, 25 soys added ; for three-years old, 9st 91bs ; four, lOst 131b3; five, list 71bs; six and aged, llstlOlbs; 41bs allowed to mares and geldings. Second horse to save his stake. The winner of the Turf Club Plate, the Woodstock Plate, or the Town Plate, to carry 71bs extra. Once round and a distance. The SELLING STAKES of 2 soys each, 20 soys added; secodd horse to save his stake. T.C.P. weights. The winner to be sold for 100 soys ; if entered to be sold for 90 soys, to be allowed 71bs ; if for 80 soys, 14lbs ; if for 70 soys, 211bs ; if for 60 soys, 281bs 5 if for 50 soys, 351bs 5 if for 40 soys, 421bs. Heats. Once round and a distance. The winner to be sold by auction, open to the public, within half-an-hourof the race ; the surplus, if any, to go to the Race Fund. The CONSOLATION PLATE of 20 soys, added to a handicap sweepstakes of two soys each, p p ; for horses that have started and not won in the previous race 9. Second horse to B&ve his stake. Horses to be named within a quarter of an hour after the last ' heat for the Selling Stakes, and to be handicapped by the Stewards or whom they may appoint. Once round and a distance. The FORCED HANDICAP of 10 per centum of the gross amount of the public money won (exclusive of stakes or entrances); h ft ; for the winner of any race, excepting tho Great Nelson Trial Stakes, the Selling Stakes, and Consolation Plate. Open to any other horse by making a stake of 5 soys ; h ft. Second horso to save his stake. H0r333 to be named at the same time as for the Consolation Plate, and to be handicapped in the same manner. Once round and a distance. Regulations. An allowance of 41bs will be made to all horses brought from the other Provinces of New Zealand to run at this meeting. The prizes will bo paid by tho Treasurer, on the Monday following tho races, at the Trafalgar Hotel, at eleven o'clock, a.m. Entries (excepting for the Scurry Plate, Handicap Sweepstakes, Consolation Plate, and Forced Handicap) to be made, and colours of the ridere declared, under a sealed cover to the Secretary of the Turf Club, at the Trafalgar Hotel, at or before six o'clock, p.m., on the evening of Thursday, the 24th February.
