T EWIS CONWAY, WATCHMAKER J-i and JEWELLER, Trafalgar-street, begs to inform those friends who have been so kind as to patronize him since his arrival in Nelson, that he has received, by recent shipments from Sydney, the most choice selection of all kinds of Gold and Silver Watches, Jewellery of all descriptions ; and his stock of all classes of Fancy Goods, too numerous to mention, comprises Musical Boxes, Flutinas, Concertinas, and Clocks. Such a stock has never before been seen in Nelson. A nice lot of Rings made up from Appoo's Flat gold, worked in Nelson. N.B. — Watches, Clocka, and Musical Boxes repaired on the premises by a competent workman. GCOATES, Practical WATCH and • CLOCK MAKER, has just received a supply of WATCHES, CLOCKS, and JEWELLERY, which he will offer at prices which must command a sale. ALBION WHARF.— Masters of vessels above Sixty Tons using tin's Wharf are requested to take notice, that the time allowed for the discharge or loading of such vessels is from this date limited as follows : — For 25 Tons One Day 60 „ Two Days 100 „ Three Days and for each additional Fifty Tons, One Day. Any vessel exceeding the time allowed will be charged at the rate of Five Pounds sterling per day. Coasting vessels cannot be permitted to remain alongside the Wharf, unless actually discharging or loading, and must haul off at night. Consignees and shippers are informed that, from this date, all charges for wharfage, rent, and labour must be paid before delivery of the goods upon which they have arisen. England's Hope has been recently imported from England, is rising five years old, and is considered by competent judges to be the finest horse ever imported. Terms : — £5 per mare, and 7s. 6d. fee to groom. To stand at the Wakefield Arms, Waimea South, on Tuesdays and Wednesdays ; at the Star and Garter, Richmond, on Fridays, from 10 to 3 o'clock ; and at the Trafalgar Hotel, Nelson, on Saturdays. Payment to be made on or before the Ist of February, and Groom's fee at the time of covering. No attendance on Sundays. TO STAND THIS SEASON, at Riverhill Farm, Riwaka Valley, that superior Cart Horse "YOUNG CAPTAIN." Terms : — Four Pounds each mare (to be paid on or before the Ist of January, 1858), and Five Shillings to the groom (to be paid on the first service) for each mare. James Cook.
