Eclipse of the Moon. — An eclipse of the moon took place on Thursday evening last, beginning at sixteen minutes after five and terminating at forty-three minutes after nine. As the evening was remarkably fine, the eclipse was seen to great advantage. Very few persons, we believe, were aware that an eclipse was to take place until the moon rose, bo that it took most people by surprise.
