FLOODS IN CITY OF CORK
Cork, Dec., 21. The City’s worst floods for 50 years destroyed thousands of pounds worth of goods mostly irreplaceable. The entire centre of the city and the principal shopping districts flooded to a depth of 2 to 4 feet at high tide and for two hours afterwards.
