GERMAN OFFICIALS REQUEST FOR EXPULSION Beilin, Dec., 22. The Allied Control Counci’, has asked the Governments of the Allied and neutral nations to expel ah former German officials, agents and “undesirable persons.” The American News Service reports that places from which German officials must return are Afghanistan Eire, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the Vatican City. BRITISH DECISION WELCOMED (Rec. 11.10 a.m.) London, Dec. 23. Welcoming the British decision to disband the Wehrmacht personnel in the British zone in Germany the Moscow radio commentator, Leo Volynsky, alleged that it proved the Russian allegations were true. “A telling blow has been dealt to professional liars who vainly attempted to sow doubt concerning the Russian reports about large Hitlerite armed units in the British zone. This fact has now been officially recognised.” The commentator added that the disbandment was a real step towards ensuring that Germany could never again wage a war of aggression. He hoped the Nazis who had taken refuge at Hamburg and elsewhere would be “shown their places.”
