The biggest surprises i n the Ministerial appointments were those of Mr Isaacs and Mr Barnes, says the Press Association's lobby correspondent. Demobilisation is one of the key problems of the next year or two. Mr Isaacs will face many complexities In the orderly transfer of vast numbers of workers from war to peace production. Although the pressure o n the Ministry of War Transport has greatly diminished Mr Barnes has still much work to do there. Miss Wilkinson is only the second woman to reach Cabinet rank, the first being Miss Bondfield. More Labour peers will probably be created shortly.
