NELSON HARMONIC SOCIETY

MONDAY NIGHT’S CONCERT On Monday next at 8 p.m. at the School of Music the Nelson Harmonic Society, under the cohductorship of Mr T. J. Kirlt-Burnnand, will give its first concert since going into recess six years ago. The choir will present the well-known Jackson’s “Te Deum” and Sir David Elgar’s “Banner of St. George.” The well-balanced orchestra should please the audience in its rendering Of a Varied number of items by famous composers. The assisting artists at the concert will be Miss Jeanette Harley, very promising local singer, and Mr George Wilson, of Wel- - 1 .l”*to l ”* ton ’ wil o has had wide experience. Although the bookings at feegg’s are heavy, there are still some seats available.
