PARADE AND DISPLAY TO-MORROW

To-morrow at 2.30 p.m. there will be a parade of the primary school children and the % College Cadets, headed by the Nelson Garrison Band. The parade will march through the main streets of the city and finally halt opposite Buxtons Limited, wfotoe a gymnastic display will be given by the College boys. Choruses, too, will be sung by the children and a bright half-hour is assured ior all.. The public should not miss this op_ portunity of seeing their children’s effort for the Loan and should show their appreciation in a tangible way by making their investments to-mor-row.

The Post Offices and Banks will be open until 4 o’clock to receive subscriptions.

It Depends on the People “In past loans large amounts were subscribed in the closing stages . . In the present case the big investments were made early in the campaign. All known subscriptions are included in ihe published figures. ~. . The Victory Loan stands or falls by whai New Zealanders invest between now and 16th June.” —The Minister of Finance (the Hon. W.
