APPRECIATION OF RESPONSE TO APPEAL
[To the Editor) Sir, —May we through yoUr columns thank the public of Nelson for their generous response to our street appeal yesterday when our funds benefited to the extent of £203. We also wish to thank the members of the Happiness Club, Nelson Townswomen’s Guild, the Red Cross Society, the St. John Nursing Divisions and others who were responsible for the collecting.—We are, etc., D.
