V-BOMBS SENT TO NORWAY

BALTIC STEAMER AT OSLO London, Apl. 10. Germans are transporting V-bombs to Norway. A Norwegian official told the “Daily Telegraph’s” Stockholm correspondent that a Baltic ferry steamer arrived at Oslo a week ago w'ith a load of 24 feet long cigar-shaped objects which were concealed by canvas covers and believed to be the wingless bodies of flying-bombs. They were immediately loaded on two waiting and guarded trains and taken to Kristiansund and Stavanger. The distance from Stavanger south-east to Britain would be at least double the original flyingbomb’s range,® but it is asserted here that the Germans have completed experiments of launching flying-bombs f 1 om surface ships and U-boats.
