CIDER SUBSTITUTE FOR PETROL
New York, Mar. 9. Japanese warplanes will soon run on apple cider, says Tokio radio. Scientists, working to overcome the fuel shortage, have succeeded in raising the alcoholic content of cider to the point where the fuel can take the place of petrol. _________________
