ENEMY ON EIGHTH ARMY FRONT London, Apl. 8. British Eighth Army forces made further progress between Lake Comae - chio and the Reno River in the face of stiffening resistance, says an Italy communique. American Fifth Army forces of Japanese ancestry advanced against strong opposition and captured Monte Belvedere and other important features south-west of Massa. His Majesty’s Ships Marne and Lookout continued to give fire support to the Fifth Army engaged against enemy positions, troops and concentrations with good effect.
